Environmental Fund collects and administers funds for the protection and use of water, waste management, air protection, nature and landscape protection. Revenues of the fund come from the fees of the companies that pollute the air and water and from the companies that collect the water. The Fund provides grants (mainly to municipalities) for investment projects aimed at improving the quality of the environment. Responsible for the management of the Fund is Minister of the Environment.
